Dr. Sarah Shook is a licensed psychologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, and family relationship problems across the lifespan. She takes a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach, helping clients understand their difficulties and assisting them with developing healthier ways of thinking and behaving. Dr. Shook has extensive experience with teaching parents and children strategies for better managing ADD/ADHD, consulting with schools to promote success in students experiencing academic or behavioral problems, and helping parents and children better understand each other and communicate more effectively. She also assists distressed couples in working through conflict and in strengthening their relationships. Outside of work, Dr. Shook enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
